Sean Zohar

Marketing and Communications Specialist

Sean is an experienced storyteller who lives to connect the ideas of brilliant thinkers to government, media, and the wider public. As a Marketing & Communications Specialist, Sean is always busy helping translate the BIIE’s research into impactful narratives, content, and campaigns.

Prior to joining BII+ E, Sean worked in the public and think-tank sectors delivering strategic communications, policy research and issues management support to policymakers, experts and influencers on a variety of issues and files, including cybersecurity, refugee protection, conflict management and international trade.  

Sean is passionate about volunteering his time with a number of causes. Most recently Sean assisted with the work of PeaceGeeks, an award-winning not-for-profit organization based in Vancouver. When Sean is not volunteering, he is spending time with his dog Lili, traveling or exploring Toronto’s vast restaurant scene.

Sean holds a Masters degree from the University of Ottawa’s Graduate School of Public & International Affairs as well as an Honors BA from Western University in International Relations.
