Mohammed ( Joe) Masoodi is a Policy Analyst at the Ryerson Leadership Lab. Joe has been conducting research and policy analysis at the intersections of surveillance, digital technologies, security and human rights for over six years. He has conducted research at the Surveillance Studies Centre at Queen’s University and the Canadian Forces College. He holds an MA in war studies from the Royal Military College of Canada; an MA in sociology from Queen’s University; and has studied sociology as a PhD candidate from Queen’s University, specializing in digital media, information and surveillance.
