Madeleine Gabriel

Madeleine Gabriel leads Nesta’s work on inclusive innovation policy, aiming to show how governments can support innovation in a way that creates a fairer and more equal society. Current lines of enquiry for this work include: how the public can play a greater role in innovation policymaking; how to open up roles in innovation to people from a much wider range of backgrounds; and what tools and approaches policymakers need to design policies that spread the benefits of innovation to many more people. Her team works mainly with stakeholders in the UK and Europe, while taking inspiration from all around the world.
