Erin Ellis

Manager, Strategic Partnerships

Erin Ellis is the Manager, Strategic Partnerships for the Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship. Erin’s passion for catalyzing value-additive relationships between government, private sector and academia radiates through her daily work and her expertise in negotiating those collaborations across stakeholders is where she truly shines. Previously, she served as Director, International Market Development for the World Trade Centre Toronto (WTC-T), the trade services arm of the Toronto Region Board of Trade. There, along with the team at the WTC-T, she provided targeted international trade advisory services and expertise through comprehensive research, trade education, strategy building workshops, outbound and inbound trade missions and valuable connections to experts and networks.

Devoted to the holistic betterment of the communities in which she lives, Erin is also an active volunteer and currently holds unpaid positions with Art Gallery of Ontario, the Jays Care Foundation, and Stella’s Place. Erin’s education includes a BSc in Molecular Genetics & Biotechnology from the University of Toronto, a PDD in International Business Management from North Island College, and a Strategy & Entrepreneurship Certificate from Ted Rogers School of Management.
