Dionne Pelan

UBC Learning Exchange

Dionne Pelan is the Computer and Drop-in Programs Coordinator with the UBC Learning Exchange.

Dionne is a non-traditional educator who holds a Provincial Adult Instructors Diploma.  She has over 15 years’ experience teaching and leading digital literacy activities using effective adult education approaches.  Currently, She is working on two digital literacy outreach projects that bring peer led digital literacy to parks, community centers, community organizations, and other spaces where community members gather.  She is constantly inspired by the resiliency and strength of the communities she lives and works in.
