Darren joins the Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship as an intern after recently completing his Bachelor of Commerce at McGill University with an interdisciplinary focus in business, economics, and political science.

He is passionate about bettering society through progressive policy and social entrepreneurship, and has worked on multiple social innovation projects in Canada, South Africa, and Hong Kong. Additionally, this past summer he worked at a Toronto-based boutique communications agency.

As the newest member of BII+E’s communications team, Darren is excited to apply his creative and business skills to make the institute’s unique policy insights more accessible and actionable to the public as well as to industry and government leaders.
