Andrew Do

Policy Analyst

As a Policy Analyst, Andrew has a particular interest in public sector innovation, entrepreneurial education and organizational behavior.

Prior to joining the Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship, he was a Studio [Y] Fellow at the MaRS Discovery District where he worked on MyHealth, an initiative intended to help citizens manage their own health through access to their own personal health information. He previously worked for a global health startup focused on combatting counterfeit medication within South Asia and also supported the City of Toronto as a Research Associate on social policy files.

At the heart of innovation and entrepreneurship are people, and Andrew firmly believes that people with diverse experiences and perspectives working together is the foundation to any successful innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. He wants to understand the innovator or the entrepreneur and their own lived experiences as contributors and beneficiaries to the ecosystem and bring this lens to the policy dialogue. Andrew is currently a DiverseCity Fellow at CivicAction.

Andrew has a Masters of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Toronto.
