Michelle Folinas
Michelle joins the Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship as an intern after completing her first year at The University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Waterloo, where she studied Human Resource Management and Legal Studies.Michelle’s research experience with the Centre for Law, Technology and Society at The University of Ottawa introduced her to the intersection between law and technology in an innovative society. She is passionate about learning how artificial intelligence and intellectual property can help businesses succeed in the Canadian innovation ecosystem, and is looking forward to applying her policy and legal research experience to explore and generate forward-looking insights.
