Caitlin Cassie was a Policy Advisor at the Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship (BII+E) from 2016-2017.
Caitlin’s passion for tackling complex challenges and sincere interest in all policy-related topics made her a dynamic addition to the Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship’s policy team. As a Policy Advisor, Caitlin worked through multifaceted policy issues at the intersection of the public, private, academic, and nonprofit sectors.
Prior to joining BII+E, Caitlin focused on dynamic policy issues in the public, non-profit, and international development sectors. Throughout her studies and her career, Caitlin has had the privilege of working with people who are responding to some of our world’s most pressing policy questions. Working at BII+E enables her to continue exploring the ways in which policy influencers, policy makers, policy implementers, and people impacted by policy decisions can better collaborate and together build a more accessible, inclusive, and equitable future.
Caitlin holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of British Columbia.
